Hi friends of Aceti Design Co!
Continuing with our Making the Most series, today we are focusing on Facebook. Facebook is the most well-known social media platform, as it is used across both older generations and millennials. Facebook fan pages are a great tool for promoting, advertising & marketing your products and services. As such, they can be a huge source of new clientele.
Keep reading for 5 tips to get the most out of your Facebook fan page.
1 | Fully Set Up Your Page
This may seem like a no-brainer, but so many people don't fully complete the setup of their Facebook page! Be sure to add all vital info, like an overview of your product/services, a phone number/email, your hours of operation, a link to your website, a shop button, your location, etc. Info should be easy for people to find as they need it. The easier it is, the more likely they are to buy.
2 | brand your page
Once you've setup your page, be sure to add a cover photo & profile photo that matches your brand identity. Branding also shines through your written tone, as well as in any product/behind the scenes photos you may share later on.
3| share visual content
In a visual era, people LOVE visual content. Whether it's a product photo, sneak peek, behind the scenes, or an inspirational quote, graphics bring more attention to your page. Graphics are also much more likely to create buzz and more shares.
4 | share consistently
Once your page is setup and fully branded, create a posting schedule and stick to it! Sharing content certain days every week regularly creates the look of professionalism and consistency. Viewers are less likely to like your page if you post sporadically.
5 | respond to reviews, comments & questions
Also a no-brainer, but oftentimes gets missed! When people ask questions about your products/services, instead of messaging them privately, try posting the response publicly. Someone else may have a similar question! When people leave you feedback, be sure to respond to each and every one. Bottom line is, if someone takes times out of their day to post on your page, they should receive a response!
